The death of Viola Long of Hampton, widow of Lloyd Long, occurred December 18, 2010 at the Dr. V.A. Snow Centre, Hampton. She was born in St. Croix, NB, daughter of the late Melville and Lillian (Coy) Burnside. Viola is survived by her children, Arthur (Carol) of Hampton, Robert of Toronto, Raymond (Shirley) of Riverview, Dianna Rickson of Little River, BC, and William of Edmonton, AB; one sister, Gladys Cosman of ON; one brother, Ronald Burnside of California; 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son Aubrey in 1959; two sisters, Elvira and Mae; and five brothers, Gordon, Harry, James, Melville and Aubrey.
Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, with visitation on Monday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The funeral will be held 1:00pm, Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Hampton Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Gray officiating. Interment will take place in Midland Cemetery. Memorials to the Dr. V.A.
