NEW GLASGOW - Natalie Lynn (Breen) Esayenko, age 40, of Tobin Lake Sk. and formerly of New Glasgow passed away on Monday, December 13, 2010, in Tobin Lake Sk.
Natalie was born February 19,1970, to parents Lawson and Heidi(Fraser) Breen of New Glasgow.
As she and her younger brother, Joseph, grew up, they had usual sibling dynamic. From the early days of rivalry through teenage bickering and finally into adulthood, there grew an eternal bond. Natalie was competitive, whether it was running, swimming, biking or triathlons, she wanted to be the best.
Her parents always encouraged her to excel in everything she tried. After graduating from high school, Natalie moved away from home to attend Business College and took a job in the Nova Scotia Legislature. She was also a lifeguard, certified open water diver and a fitness instructor.
In 1995 she married Ty MacPherson and together they had a son, Noah, who was born in 1997. Natalie always liked to call him "Gooch". Later in 1997 they moved from Nova Scotia to Fond-du-lac Sk. She took this time with her "Goocher" and worked as an auxiliary RCMP officer. In 2001 she was accepted into the RCMP academy in Regina. After graduating from Depot she had postings in Nipawin and Blaine Lake.
On August 5, 2007, Natalie married Murray Esayenko. They enjoyed their cabin at Tobin Lake and liked to spend time there with family and friends. She started a new career, working alongside Murray as a pipe fitter apprentice. She thoroughly enjoyed this job and although she always knew who she was as a person, the last few years of her life may have been the time when she was most contented.
Every year Natalie's summer vacation took her back to Chance Harbour. To find Natalie all one had to do was go to the beach down at the shore. She was always the first one on the beach and the last to leave. She shared many treasured memories with her extended family of the "Village".
Natalie was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, John Fraser, paternal grandparents, Russell and Bessie Breen, uncles, Kevin and Ronnie Breen also in-laws Bill and Gloria Esayenko.
She leaves to treasure her memory husband, Murray, son, Noah, and his father, Ty MacPherson, her parents, Lawson and Heidi Breen, brother, Joseph Breen(Charlene Johnson), maternal grandmother, Hilda Fraser, a niece, Jorja, brothers-in-law, Lorne and Brian(Susan), nephews: Michael, Bryn, Cody, Tanner and niece, Lauren, a number of aunts, uncles and friends.
