It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing at home of our dear mother on Sunday, Dec, 19, 2010. She died as she lived, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Genevieve (Confiant) Wilmot. In earlier years, Frances was a resident of Water Street and New Aberdeen where she was a faithful member of Holy Cross Church and St. John's Church, both in Glace Bay.
A stay at home mom, she devoted her life to her family, which included cooking her famous Sunday dinners, making homemade bread and baking pies and sweets. Frances was a very quiet and kindhearted lady who in her spare time enjoyed going out to play bingo with her family and friends.

Also surviving are a very special grandson, Blair, who Frances raised as her own; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
