It is with heavy hearts that we, the family of the late George 'Jed' Clarke, announce his sudden passing. Jed passed away Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at the QEII Health Science Centre, Halifax, after a brief illness.
Born in North Sydney, he was the son of the late George and Verna (Hoeg) Clarke.
Jed is survived by his sons, Darren (Terry Lynn), Jerry and Shaun (Carolyn); and their mother, Mary Jessome; his grandchildren, Destiny and Landon; his brother, Tom (Angie); his sisters, Donna (Joe), Debbie, Lynn, Tracey (Alton); his maternal grandmother, Ruth (Hoeg) Sichky; his special aunt, Marilyn; several nieces and nephews and close friends, Wessey, Emmy, Quincy, Walter and Kenny.
Besides his parents, Jed was predeceased by his brother, Dennis.
There will be no visitation by request. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. Interment in Lakeside Cemetery, North Sydney.
