GORDON SUTHERLAND
It was this very day five years ago
The Sutherland family was dealt a great blow
A husband, a father, a brother, a friend
Who's time here on earth had come to an end
And although it's emotional each Christmas season
We realize with God everything has a reason
So we thank the dear Lord for supplying us the grace
To accept that he's in a much better place
We know he wasn't perfect and didn't always abide
But we know that God saw how hard he tried
It was this day he was given a brand new start
Cause when God measures a man He puts the tape around his heart
Now has a job working for the Lord and we just wanted to say
How much we miss you Gord
