It is with great sadness the family of the late Cecilia Mary Etheridge announce her passing at the Pine Grove Nursing Home, Fredericton, New Brunswick, on December 18, 2010 at the age of 80. Cecilia was predeceased by her parents, Bridget and George MacDonald; her husband, Raymond; brothers: George, Arthur, Herbert and Frank; sisters: Annie, Regina and Josephine; brothers-in-law: Pat Hobbs, Ken Johnson and Pat Etheridge; and sister-in-law, Bonnie MacDonald. Left to mourn with fond memories are her nine children and their families: sons: Raymond (Alice) of Grand Falls-Windsor; George (Judy) of Thunder Bay, ON; Leonard (Irene) of WaWa, ON; Rodney (Shannon) of St. John's; and daughters: Marylou of Milton, ON; Judy (Doug) Phipps of Miramichi, NB; Patricia (Rick) Wiseman of Phoenix, AZ; Georgina of Corner Brook, and Debbie (Mark) of Fredericton, NB; as well as nineteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn with loving memories her sisters: Shirley (Cyril) Power and Alice Hobbs of Grand Falls-Windsor; and brother, James McDonald (Ester) of Norris Arm; and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Cecilia's children will be receiving family and friends at Central Funeral Homes, 45 Union St. Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Sunday, January 2nd, 2011, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, Church Road, Grand Falls-Windsor, on Monday, January 3rd, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow.
