September 23, 1930 - November 12, 2010

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bud Beesley longtime resident of Calgary, Alberta on November 12, 2010 at the age of 80 years, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bud will be lovingly remembered by his wife Pat and sons Bob and Jim of Calgary, and sister Pat (Jack) Woods of Bellville, Texas.

He was predeceased by his parents Rena and Bill Beesley of Kamloops, B.C. and his young son Gary. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bud was born in Prince Rupert and moved to Kamloops with his family in the 1940's. He graduated from Kamloops Senior Secondary and then pursued a career with Bechtel Gas and Oil Company. He worked in Holland and throughout Canada.

Bud was a kind gentle soul with sparkling eyes and a great sense of humour. He was affectionately known by Bernard and Marguerite Beesley's family as "Uncle Bud".

A Service and Celebration of his Life was held on November 19, 2010 at Evan J. Strong Funeral Services in Calgary.
