Delores Edna Stewart (nee Maxmen) passed away at Royal Jubilee Hospital on December 6,2010 after a short illness with cancer. Born April 3, 1928 at Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, parents Annabelle and Ole Maxmen. Delores is survived by her loving husband, Bill, of 58 years. She also leaves two daughters, Cathy Schoor (Wayne), Gail Seguin (Ron), and a son William John: also eight grandchildren: Terry, Ryan, Peter, Stewart, Marc, Danielle, Alain and Tamily; and six great-grandchildren, with one more expected in the near future. She also leaves a younger sister, Yvonne Rasmussen. Our sincere thanks to the medical and nursing staff at I.C.U. and Royal 3 Post Surgery Ward at Royal Jubilee Hospital for the professional, concerned and tender care they provided Delores during this difficult period. At Delores' request there will be no funeral service; a family remembrance will be held in the New Year.
