A big presence with a bigger heart passed away suddenly and peacefully on June 26th, 2009. Predeceased by parents Marie Bishop and Eugene Bishop Sr. Leaving to mourn his beloved family wife Dieanne (Pike), son Eugene (Ashley), daughters Michelle, April, Jeannine (Jimmy) Sandy (Chris) and all Poppy’s Boys: Jordon, Nathan, Logan, James and Nicholas. Also brother Do n (Cindy), sisters Debbie (Kevin), Linda (Dave), Patsy (Gord), as well as special cousin Gerry, goddaughter Shauna and a large circle of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as the Kinsmen Club of Witless Bay, his special Gully Pond friends and countless others who have felt the warmth of his generous spirit. Resting at Carnells Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at St. Patrick’s on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Mt.
