C. Ellsworth Grieve passed away peacefully at the Carleton Kirk Lodge, Saint John West on December 25, 2010 after a long period of failing health. He was born in Harvey Station, NB on August 29, 1933, a son of the late Charles and Hazel (Hamilton) Grieve. Ellsworth was a graduate of Harvey Regional High School and then was employed with the Canadian Pacific Railway. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers from March of 1955 to January of 1993 and was secretary-treasurer of Local 479. Ellsworth is survived by a sister, Marina Sargeson (Doug) of Westfield Road, Saint John, NB and by several cousins.
At his request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will be later at Harvey Settlement Cemetery.
