Leona McLaughlin passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, December 24, 2010. Born on July 21, 1936 in Newcastle, she was a daughter of the late Henri and Marie (Malley) Gautreau. She is survived by her husband, Allen Donally; sisters, Rose, Toronto; Liz, Freda and Irene all of Calgary; brothers, Jim of Saint John; John and Edward both of Toronto; many nieces and nephews. Besides her family, Leona leaves behind many friends. She was predeceased by her son, Collin Gautreau; ten brothers and sisters.
Arrangements are entrusted to Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), in keeping with Leona's wishes there will be no visitation. A graveside service will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery, on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the New Brunswick Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
