Joan Adrienna Edgar, 78, of Lutes Mountain passed away peacefully December 24, 2010 at the Moncton Hospital with Stephen Wayne, Claire and Carol at her side. Born in Moncton she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Olla (Ritchie) Gallant. A homemaker she was a devoted pastor's wife who served faithfully at numerous churches with her late husband. She took great pride in her grandchildren and their accomplishments. Survived and sadly missed by her children David of Hamilton On., Stephen Wayne (Claire) of Lutes Mountain, Darrell (Beth) of Windsor On.; ten grandchildren; a great grandson Logan; sister Carol Hutchinson (Ron Sweet) of Riverview; brother Donald Gallant (Barb) of Dieppe and several nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law. Predeceased by her husband Rev. Clarence Edgar and a sister Marion Carson.
Resting at the Lutes Mountain Church of the Nazarene on Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Church on Wednesday, December 29 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dale Thistle officiating. Interment at Birch Hill Cemetery. Memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lutes Mounain Church of the Nazarene would be appreciated by the family.
