Raymond Joseph Theriault loving husband of Sandra (VanWeston) Theriault passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday December 26, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1940 in Allairdville, NB he was the son of the late Richard and Delia (Doiron) Theriault. Ray was self-employed as a Professional Painter for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 8364 and a Past Grand Knight. Ray enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with his family. In addition to his loving wife Sandra of 49 years, he is survived by his sons Raymond Theriault Jr. (Joanne) of Saint John, Troy Theriault (Bonnie) of Willow Grove and Glenn Theriault (Diane) of Willow Grove; daughter Kimberly Boudreau (Thomas) of Saint John; cherished grandchildren Jonathan, Andrew, Erin, Gavin, Crystal, Kelly, Eric, Ryan, Sarah, Chantelle and Nathan; great granddaughter Peyton; brothers Albenie Theriault of Toronto, Valmont Theriault (Helen) of Sussex, Richard Theriault (Suzanne) of Quispamsis, Walter Theriault of Saint John and Raoul Theriault (Cathy) of Saint John; sisters Doris Oxford (Marvin) of Newfoundland and Theresa Messina (Sal) of Markham, ON; sister-in-law Irene Theriault of Hamilton, ON; many nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother Leonard Theriault and sister Bertha Cachagge.
By request there will be no visitations. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Joachim's Church on Wednesday December 29, 2010 at 12:00 Noon. Donations in memory of Ray made to St. Joachim's Church Building Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
