Margaret C. (MacDonald) Steadman, 76, formerly of King Edward Street in Glace Bay, N.S.
Margie was the daughter of Roddie and Mary Agnes MacDonald and predeceased by John, Phillip, Michael, Roddy, James, Steven, Neil, Christine, Mary, Sadie and Allie.
Fiesty and independant Margie would charm all with her wit and humour and spent 50 years in Toronto before returning to Nova Scotia in 1996.
Margie’s fondest memories were of her time spent with all the family (especially Gomer) at Balsam Lake.
Margie will be dearly missed by her nephews and nieces.
Margie passed away on September 15, 2008, but funeral service was delayed to allow family members to travel. Service will be held at 10 a.m. July 2, 2009 at St. Anne’s Church in Glace Bay.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Anne’s Church or CWL in Glace Bay.
