Passed away peacefully Friday, Dec. 24, 2010, at the Village of Humber Heights.
Predeceased by her husband the late Frank Pettipas.
Loving mother of Kimberley and her husband Russell. Proud grandmother of Jason and Matthew. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Bill; sister, Key (the late George), Helen (Bob) and brother, Ed (Marlene).
Predeceased by her parents, William and Hazel McGovern, brother, Albert and sister-in-law, Mary.
Marie will be fondly remembered and missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Village of Humber Heights for all their care and support.
Resting at the Newediuk Funeral Home, Kipling Chapel, 2058 Kipling Ave. (north of Rexdale Blvd.,) from Wednesday, 10 a.m. until service time in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Assumption Catholic Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
