The death occurred at his late residence on Friday, Dec. 24, 2010, of Leo J. Arsenault of Abrams Village and formerly of St. Chrysostome, aged 78 years. Leo was born on June 24, 1932, in St. Chrysostome, to his late parents, Joseph and Lucie Anne Arsenault. Beloved husband of Yvonne (nee Caissie) Arsenault and loving father of Roger (Della), Yvette (Camille) Arsenault, Simonne (Henri) Arsenault all of Abrams Village, Maurice (Simonne) of St. Chrysostome, Sylvia Barriault of Abrams Village, Michel (Donna) of St. Chrysostome, Claudette (Gregg Kehoe) of Trenton, Ont., Alain (Tammy) and Simon (Monique) all of St. Chrysostome. Also lovingly remembered by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Survived by his brothers Alyre (Corinne), Levi (Louise), Peter (Rose), all of Wellington, and Albert (Norma) of St. Chrysostome; his sisters-in-law Marianne Arsenault of St. Chrysostome and Aline Arsenault of Summerside; and brother-in-law Joseph Gallant of Wellington. Besides his parents, Leo was predeceased by his son Julien, brothers Willie, Franky, Joseph and Edward and sisters Helene and Rita. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral, Urbanville, until Wednesday, Dec. 29, then to St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay, for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Visiting hours on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation, P.E.I.
