MCFARLANE (née Lambe), Mary Ellen (Nellie) - Passed peacefully away on December 24, 2010 at Placentia Health Care Centre, age 88 years. Predeceased by: her parents, Michael and Johanna (Best) Lambe; sisters, Anastasia (Patrick) Norman, Gertrude Lambe and Theresa Lambe; and her husband of 52 years, Henry. Leaving to mourn her children: Josephine (Bob) Rhynold, Doreen (Steve) Dray, and Margie McFarlane; her stepmother: Julia Best; her brother: Victor Lambe; her grandchildren: Alyson and Warren Rhynold; her sister-in-law: Annie Hann; brother-in-law: Gerald (Jenny) McFarlane; niece: Josephine (Edward) Traverse; nephews: Michael (Helen) Norman and Francis (Lena) Norman; and other wonderful relatives and friends. Visitation has taken place at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia. A Funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 27, Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater.
