MELINDY, Dorcas - Passed peacefully away at Brookfield Hospital on Sunday, December 26, 2010, Dorcas Melindy age 76 years of Lumsden. Predeceased by her parents Allison and Priscilla Wright; husband Gordon; brother Alexander; brothers and sister-in-law Jack Melindy, Lloyd and Patricia Melindy, Wilfred Norman; nephew Randy Norman; parents-in-law Earl and Marie Melindy. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons Derrick (Trudy) of Lumsden, Eugene (Cheryl) of Gander, Glenn (Sharon) of Goulds and Gordon (Tracy) of Lumsden; daughters Donna Goodyear (Job) of Lumsden and Gayle Whitt (Doyle) of Gander; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Fred Melindy (Norma) of Valleyfield; sisters-in-law Elsie Norman of Lumsden, Juanita Hatcher (Erwin) of Lumsden and Marion Melindy of Lumsden; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will take place today at Wesley United Church, Lumsden at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at the United Cemetery, Lumsden.
