It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of our dear mother, wife, daughter and friend, Stephanie Stockley (Adam) on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer, in the Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
After graduating from Riverview Rural High School, she worked at the Tim Hortons on George Street, and then the Department of National Defence in Cold Lake, Alta.
Born in Ontario, she was the daughter of Brian and Maureen (Ponee) Adam.
Stephanie is survived by her husband, Norman Stockley; one daughter, Lynnea, at home; one sister, Wendy (Carl) Dona, New York.
A memorial service celebrating Stephanie's life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, at the S.W. Chant and Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. The service will be officiated by Pastor Sheldon Chant.
