
Gerald LeBlanc
Gerald "The Horn" LeBlanc, 70, of Irishtown, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Sunday December 26, 2010 following a brief illness. Born in Saint Maurice, he was the son of the late John and Claire (Poirier) LeBlanc. Gerry retired from the drywall industry in 1995. "The Horn" got his nickname from his friends and teammates during his many years playing Old Timer Hockey and Slo-Pitch ball with the "Roadrunners" and "Coyotes". He will be remembered for his guitar playing and fun loving ways. Gerald will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 46 years, Geraldine (Legere); his children, Monique (Gary), Daniel (Joanne) and Marcel (Sophie); his three precious grandchildren, Catherine, Jonathan and Olivier; sisters, Emuriel Bourassa, Lauria Goguen (Jean-Guy), Claudine LeBlanc and his brother, Jean-Guy LeBlanc; as well as his many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Lilia Bristow and brother-in-law, Guy Bourassa.
