It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ivy V. Burt announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, December 28th, 2010 at the age of 90 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Gower (Fern) of Corner Brook, Harry (Melinda) of Howley, Jennifer (Wally) Osmond of Corner Brook, Glenn (Joan) of Moncton, Helen (Donald) Luther of Collingwood, ON, 20 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, brothers; Cyril Sweetapple & Gilbert (Marie) Sweetapple, brother-in-law Dick Rodgers as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband; Aubrey, daughter; Gloria (Jim) Clements, brother; Chesley, sister; Eva in Infancy and her sister Louise Rodgers. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Thursday, December 30th, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Salvation Army Temple, O'Connell Drive on Friday, December 31st, 2010 at 2 p.m. with Major Larry Goudie officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army Junior Band or Gideons.
