1923 - 2010 - Mrs. Audrey Rachel Mellish, born September 20, 1923 at River Hebert Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at the age of 87 years. Audrey will be dearly missed by a daughter, Rachel (Ed) Thurlbeck of Medicine Hat and a son, Boyd Mellish of Pilot Mound, MB; grandchildren, Sandra and Tim Winchester of Medicine Hat, Garnet and Kim Mellish of Kitchener, ON, Shannon Mellish of Pilot Mound, MB and Patrick & Monica Thurlbeck of Saskatoon, SK; four great-grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew, Katie and Ainsley. She is also survived by two brothers, Lester (Muriel) Hill of Nova Scotia and Irvine (Laura) Hill of Red Deer; a brother-in-law, Richard (Evelyn) Mellish of Moncton, NB as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Audrey was predeceased by her husband, Arthur September 14, 1998. Audrey will be quietly remembered by family and friends and will join her late husband, Arthur at Fairhaven Cemetery in Moncton, New Brunswick.
