Age 79 years, passed peacefully away on December 27, 2010. Leaving to mourn his loving family, wife Bernice (nee Kavanagh), his children Paul (Donna), Kathy (Murray Tough), Mark and Michael (Kathleen), his grandchildren, Jillian, Jennifer, Matthew, Andrea, Connor and Kaitlyn, brother Frank (Marie), sister-in-law Peg Shea (John), brother-in-law John Kavanagh. Cec was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Florence, sisters Eleanor and Florence and brothers Peter, Sam, Albert, Andrew, Larry and Bernard. Cec played basketball, baseball, soccer and hockey with Holy Cross. For a number of years, he was manager of the Catholic Boys Club sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. During his retirement years he led the exercise classes in the 3F program at the Aquarena. A sincere thanks to the caring staff of Fairhaven, Agnes Pratt Home. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Wednesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday, December 31st, at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church. Cremation to follow.
