John Delaney Coleman
The family of the late John Delaney Coleman, who passed away on November 27, 2010, would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all those who supported, comforted, and cared for us during this time of grief. Thank you is extended to family locally, and from afar, neighbours, colleagues and friends for their gifts of food, sympathy cards, memorial donations and masses, flowers, phone calls and e-mails, visits to the hospital, funeral home and the mass. Special thanks to Father Will MacPherson for all his support, the bereavement committee, pall bearers, the choir for providing care and vocals at this time and the Lazarus Committee who provided a beautiful lunch. Kirk Neville, you provided a beautiful rendition of Ave Maria. A huge gratitude is shown towards the Knights of Columbus for offering support and service to their fellow Knight John who had great respect and devotion for this organization. A special thank you is sent to the staff of Cape Breton Regional Hospital, unit 4B, and the Palliative Care unit (doctors and nurses). Your compassion and expertise were greatly appreciated during this difficult time. Doctor Oei, you provided a consistent and compassionate presence, thank you. Thank you as well to Chant's Funeral Home and staff, who were caring, calm, and provided supportive assistance in this time of need. Thank you sincerely from wife Coreen and family.
