Margaret was born to Leonard and Louise Aydt on December 16, 1917 in Stanleyville, SK. She passed away on June 26, 2009 at her home in Prince Albert. She was raised in Prince Albert and attended St. Paul School, PACI and Prince Albert Business College. She was a stay at home mom for many years, then worked as a steno clerk for Mutual Life for 15 years before her retirement. She was predeceased by her husband and constant companion of 67 years, Arnold in 2006. They had a long and happy retirement, spending the summers at their cottage at Anglin Lake. She was also predeceased by her parents Leonard and Louise Aydt and her brothers Leonard and Arnold Aydt. She was a kind and loving mother and grandmother to her five children, and is survived by Donald (Jeannette); Patricia Amos; Sharon (Mike) Zaleschuk; Gayle (Bob) Paskaruk and Gordon (Sherry); her 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. The most important things in Margaret’s life were her family and her religion. She enjoyed visits and outings with her friends and relatives. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 581 – 9th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Father Francis Agbezue. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to Parkland Health Region – Home Care Palliative Care Program. Thank you to the team who helped make her last days comfortable.
