The death of Marie-Anne Doiron, 80, of Grand-Barachois occured on Friday, December 31, 2010 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Regional Hospital. Born in Grand-Barachois on November 12, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Émile Doiron and Rita Bourgeois. She was a retired school teacher and member of the SERFNB.
She is survived by two sisters: Lorraine Landry (Normand) of Cap-Pelé, Doris Gauvin (Francis) of Grand-Barachois and two sisters-in-law: Hélène Doiron of Grande-Digue and Irène Doiron of Cap-Pelé as well as several nephews, nieces and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers: Clorice (infant), Adrice, Alcide, Arsène and one sister-in-law: Pauline Doiron.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette's Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac, NB E4P 2G1 (532-3297) on Sunday, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Monday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure for Saint Henri Roman Catholic Church in Grand-Barachois, from where the funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
