Emma Helena Crozier went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 2, 2011 peacefully, at St. Joseph's Hospital with her family by her side. Born 1919 in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Cudmore) Wright. Emma was a long time member of Kings Valley Wesleyan Church. Throughout her active life in the church she acted as a CYC Director, a Sunday school teacher and a women's ministry leader. Loving wife and mother, Emma devoted her life to raising and caring for her six children. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Maurice Hubert; children Judith (Duncan) McDonald of Antigonish, NS, James (Joan) Crozier of Grand Barachois, Richard (Ruth) Crozier of Brown's Flat, Deborah (Mark) Pierce of Edmonton, AB, Nancy (Rev. Kevin) Mahoney of Doaktown and John (Karen) Crozier of Saint John; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; one sister Elvina Howard of Abbotsford, BC. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Muriel, Iona, Jean and Vesta and brothers Bill, Clarence and Charlie.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in the spring.
