Paul was born Nov. 16, 1960, the only son of Russell and Queenie (Tomiczek) Gouthro, Dominion.
He was welcomed into an extended family with many aunts and uncles who adored him. The younger ones became his sister and brothers, John Michael (Andrea) Tomiczek, Ellen (Duck) MacAulay, Gregor (Elaine) Tomiczek, Victor (Norma) Tomiczek, all of Dominion. As a big brother he welcomed three sisters who will love him forever, Judi Gouthro, Dominion, Elizabeth Sammon, Glace Bay, and Meg (David) Ellsworth, Dominion. Paul also leaves behind to mourn his nieces and nephews, Katie Sammon, Daniel Gouthro, Jill Ellsworth, Dylan Sammon, and Julia Ellsworth.
In 1985, Paul married his high school sweetheart, Helen Fowler. They remained friends until the end. Together they gave the world their most precious gift, his adored daughter, Katharine 'Kat'.
