Margaret Eleanor Bezanson - 54, of Kentville. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marg on December 25, 2010 at home, surrounded by her family and beloved dog, Bailey. Born in Wolfville, Kings County, she was a daughter of the late Malcolm "Mac" and Joyce (Davidson) Gates. Marg will be missed by her partner, Rick; step-son, Dave (Jamie), Waterville; birth son, Troy (Leslie) Lockhart, British Columbia; Mom B. and Bailey; sisters, Linda (Ron), Kentville; Karen (Dirk), Lakeville; brothers, Ronnie (Karen), Glenmont; Terry (Darlene), Halls Harbour; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Warren Millett. She had been employed with Shannex - Orchard Hall, Kentville for the past year and lovingly cared for many children in her home. In addition to children Marg loved dogs. Cremation has taken place. Visitation was held from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville where a private family funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010, Reverend Elizabeth Johnson officiated. Burial took place in Fox Hill Cemetery, Starr's Point. Family flowers only, by request. Donations in memory may be made to the IWK Health Centre - Oncology Department.
