Murray, Rachel Margaret - 80, of Brookfield, passed away on December 31, 2010, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro.
Born in Greenwater Lake, Saskatchewan, she was a daughter of the late William and Jean Murray.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Murray (Rob Uttaro), Hilden; son, James Murray (Jean McHugh), Halifax; brothers, Ralph, Bruce and Doug, all of Alberta; sister, June (Kirp) Basi, British Columbia; several nieces and nephews. Rachel was predeceased by her husband, Donald Murray; brothers, Norman, Mac and Phil; sisters, Mae and Jean.
There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 5 at 2 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, with Rev. Larry Harrison officiating. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery, Stewiacke East.
