HUGHES-Douglas Royal late of Prince Albert, passed away on December 31, 2010 at the age of 82 years. His request for No Services will be acknowledged. Doug was born in Winnipeg, MB on January 9, 1928. Doug is survived by his grandson Trevor Folliott (Rebecca); great-grandsons Jackson and Maxim; the mother of his child and good friend Nina Hughes (Simle); his son-in-law Ron Folliott; his sister-in-law Margaret; his niece Elizabeth Woods (Sam) and their children Daniel, Matthew and Hannah and his nephew Rick Hughes and a close friend Mattie Ballantyne. Doug was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Dorothy (Smith) Hughes; his daughter Maureen Folliott and his brother Joseph Herbert Hughes. Doug was employed at Weyerhaeuser until his retirement in 1993. He enjoyed going out for coffee with friends and sharing stories. Interment will be held in Moose Jaw, spring 2011.
