Passed peacefully away with her family present after a courageous battle with Idiopathetic Pulmonary Fibrosis on Saturday, June 27th, 2009 at the age of 69 years. Predeceased by her parents Richard and Margaret Nurse and infant grandson Ciaran Mackey. Left to mourn with broken hearts: son John Neville and daughter Barbara Anne and husband Neil Mackey and their father John Neville. Two grandchildren who she adored, Stefan and Colin Mackey. Also left to mourn her dedicated and loving brother and sister Michael Nurse and Margaret Meaney, as well as special and devoted in-laws Carm Nurse and Ray Meaney. Also left to mourn nieces, nephews and other family and close friends. Special thanks to Dr. Nigel Duguid, Dr. Lorne Adams and Dr. Patrick O’Shea. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Sunday and Monday from 2 p.m.- 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday June 30th, 2009 from St. Teresa’s Church at 10 a.m. with cremation to follow.
