Passed peacefully away at the Green Bay Health Care Center, Springdale on Wednesday, December 29, 2010, Mabel A. Hauca of Old Perlican, age 97 years. Predeceased by husband: Peter; daughter: Christina McNeil; brother: Wright; sisters: Borden, Zilla, Essie and Belle. Left to mourn, five grandchildren: Darlene (Leo) Oliver, Edmonton, AB, Yvonne Breeze, Old Perlican, Steven Breeze (Jamie Newitt), Vancouver, BC, Charlene Whalen (Craig Rose), Carbonear and Larry McNeil (Sherri Shaw), Springdale; seven great-grandchildren: Crystal Breeze, Amanda Whalen, Evan Whalen, Christopher Brookings, Ashton Barrow-McNeil, Colby Barrow and Danika Barrow; one great-great-grandson: Richard Breeze-Smith; numerous Bingo friends; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family received relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Rev. Michael Carruthers conducted the funeral service on Monday, January 3 from Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay. Inurnment to take place at a later date in Ontario.
