Peacefully at Queensway Carleton Hospital Ottawa, Ont. on Saturday Jan. 1, 2011 of Marguerite Ruth Small of Ottawa in her 94th year. Born in Springfield, Jan. 4, 1917, daughter of the late Norris and Minnie (MacKenzie) Sinclair. Beloved wife of G. Alden Small. Loving mother of Joyce Sayell (Lorne), Janet Frost (Barclay), Garth Small (Linda) and Grant Small (Sandra). Dear grandmother of eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Sister-in-law of Alder Large, Lorraine Sinclair, Ruth Burwell, Verna Babb (Gene), Olga Callbeck, Bruce Small (Helen), Belle
Ramsay (Clarence), Jean Small and Cecil Hebb. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Norman and James Sinclair, sister Janet Large and the following brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Ennis Small, Dorothy and Clarence Dickson, Seal Burwell, Velda and Colin Phillips, Margaret Hebb, Lillian Small and Marshall Callbeck. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Friday at St. John's Anglican Church, St. Eleanor's at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Church Cemetery.
