George Edward Vey (long-time volunteer with the Orono Minor Hockey Association) peacefully at his home in Orono, Ont. after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, in his 64th year. George, loving husband for 44 years of Audrey (nee Shaw). Devoted father of Greg and his wife Wendy, Keith and his wife Lisa, and Candace Chard and her husband Don. Grampie of Drew, Evan, Maya, George and the late Kevin. Son of the late Percy and Edna Vey. Dear brother of Charlotte (Abbey), Elaine (the late Nord), Mary, Harry (Marg; the late Chris), and the late Charles (survived by Sandy).
