PORT ELGIN, NB - Elizabeth Roberts 88, passed away peacefully at the Westford Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday December 26, 2010. Born in Liverpool England, she was the daughter of the late William and Hilda (Sanderson) Marsh. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, John Lloyd Roberts in Nov. 1997. John, Betty, Ian & Susan lived in Toronto after having immigrated to Canada in 1951. Betty moved to NB in 2007 to live with her daughter Susan and her husband Ivan. Betty is survived by one son, Ian James Roberts (Rose) of Mount Albert ON; one daughter, Susan Walton (Ivan) of Malden NB; one brother Alan Sanderson Marsh of Liverpool England; four grandchildren, Mark, Paul, Alan and Katie and four great grandchildren. Betty was predeceased by two sisters Marie and Peggy both of Liverpool, England. In respect to Elizabeth's wishes there will be no viewing and no funeral service. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
