Born on October 26, 1917, the wife of Henry Harrison Pomeroy and daughter of the late Neil and Myrtle (Hamilton) Weatherby. Survived by four sons, Norman (Jean) Pomeroy, Little Ridge, NB; Gary (Maybelle) Pomeroy, Little Ridge, NB; Keith (Marion) Pomeroy, Ottawa, ON; Bill Pomeroy, St. Stephen, NB; four daughters, Carol (Lee) Russell, Windsor, ON; Kathleen Pomeroy, Vancouver, BC; Sandra (Brian) Amirault, Ottawa, ON; Lynn (Ron) Cloney, Vancouver, BC, 18 grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one son, Wayne, and brother, Bill Weatherby.
Resting at the S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Pauline Bell of St. James Pastoral Charge officiating. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 6, 2011 from to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Interment at Pomeroy Ridge Cemetery.
