1952 - 2011 - Debbie Benjamin wife of Richard of Riverview, passed away peacefully with family by her side, Tuesday, January 4th, at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Pugwash, NS, October 7th, 1952, she was the daughter of Jean Halverson and the late Milton Halverson. Debbie was an avid bingo player and enjoyed her 3 nights out at her favourite halls. She enjoyed watching her soaps in the afternoon and movies in the evening. She loved animals, especially her adorable cat Sandi. Debbie is survived by her husband of 37 years, Richard, her mother Jean of Pugwash, sisters; Theresa of Halifax, Wendy of Pugwash, Jennifer Mattinson (Billy) of Pugwash, brothers; Craig (Karen) of Pugwash, Winston (Deanna) of London, ON, Darren (Terry) of Pugwash, Ted (Debbie) of Calgary, Jeffery of Amherst, Ryan (Bobbie) of Pugwash, Barry of Pugwash, aunts Wilma and Loretta, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father she was predeceased by a sister Sherry and brothers Boyd and Perry.
There will be no visitation prior to the memorial service to be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, January 7th, 2011 at Fair Haven Funeral Home.
