BAIRD, Myrna Lee -44, of Caribou, Pictou County, passed away suddenly January 4, 2011 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born January 17, 1966 in Pictou, she was the loving daughter of Carol (Bill) Dawson, and the late Wayne Baird. Myrna spent all her life working hard to raise her three boys, the loves of her life. She loved to cook, knit, crochet, and enjoyed music. She also enjoyed her friends and family. She had a huge circle of friends and was like a daughter to many who knew her. Surviving are her three sons, Kevin (Brittany), Ryan, and Taylor; mother, Carol; step Dad, Bill; sister, Sheryl (Harold MacDonald); special friend, Rob; grandmother, Helen Baird; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides her father, Myrna was predeceased by paternal grandfather, Archibald Baird; and maternal grandparents, Jim and Mary Fraser. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral service will take place 2:00 PM Saturday from St. James Anglican Church, Pictou, with Archdeacon Peter Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in Waterside Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
