It is with great sadness that the family of Joe Melanson announce his death at his residence on Wednesday, January 5th, 2011 at the age of 85. Born in Saint John on April 26th, 1925 he was the husband of the late Bettina (Grant) Melanson. Joe leaves behind his sons, Paul (Sonya) and Mark (Lorraine) Melanson; daughters, Dr. Dara Lee Melanson and Terri Lynn Melanson; grandchildren, Nicole Abbott, Jonathan Green, Jeffery Parson and Joshua and Jordan Melanson. In addition to his wife, Bettina, Joe was predeceased by his parents and his brothers and sisters.
