August 10, 1925 - January 4, 2011. Passed away at McMaster Medical Centre, at the age of 85. Predeceased by her loving husband Donald. Cherished mother of Donald (Shelley), Theresa (Peter) Linkert and Wayne. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Rachael (predeceased), Lindsey (Michael), Melissa, Ainsley (Matthew), Ryan, Lauren and Paige, also by great-grandchildren Eoghan, Finnegan and Carter. Funeral Services will be held in her favourite hometown, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland. Arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation will take place 10 am on Saturday, January 8 preceding Funeral Mass to be held at 2 pm. She will be at rest with her beloved husband of 60 years, Donald "Poppy".
