It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ida Harding age 91 of Waasis, on January 6, 2011 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in North Forks, NB, she was the daughter of the late John and Ella Jane Thompson and wife of the late Emlyn Harding.
She is survived by her children Cyril Harding of Cumberland Bay, William Harding (Marie) of Milton, ON, May Harding of Waasis, Violet Daigle (Thomas) of Brampton, ON, Robert Harding of Cumberland Bay, Preston Harding of Minto; brother Kenneth Clark of Chipman; 21 grandchildren; numerous great, great-greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter Madeline Canning, son Steven Harding, brother Ben, sisters Sylvia, Ruth and Rita. Ida was a member of Nashwaaksis Baptist Church, as well as being a homemaker which she enjoyed reading and doing puzzles.
As per Ida's wishes there will be no visitation. A funeral will be held on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 1 PM from Nashwaaksis Baptist Church, with Rev. Kevin Culberson officiating. Interment in Minto at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to make donations may do so to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation.
