OLIVER, James 'Jim'- Passed away at Carbonear General Hospital, Carbonear, on Thursday, January 6, 2011, James "Jim" Oliver, age 58 years. Predeceased by parents: Patrick and Ellen Oliver; brother John; birth mother Ella Nash. Leaving to mourn wife Patricia 'Patsy'; two daughters: Nicole (Tony) Bursey, Paradise and Chrissy (Sheldon) Smith, Conception Bay South; one son Jamie (Courtney), Paradise; three grandchildren: Zachary, Carley and Jada; three brothers: Larry (Rose), Caplin Cove, Billy (Jill) and Brian (Kim), both of Ontario; five sisters: Betty Penney, Western Bay, Ann (Pat) Carrigan, Harbour Grace, Joan (Kevin) Guy, Corner Brook, Linda (Max) Noseworthy, Calgary, AB and Barb (Nelson) Mills, Corner Brook; special nephews: John, Ross and Wayne Penney; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay after 2 p.m. Saturday. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, January 10 at 10:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Interment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay.
