Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, January 9, 2011, of Jack McGuigan of Charlottetown, beloved husband for 56 years of Catherine McGuigan (nee MacKenzie) and loving father of Ivan McGuigan (Karen) and Marie MacLean (Sterling - deceased). Jack is also survived by his special granddaughter, Lisa MacLean; grandchildren, Jason, David and Jennifer McGuigan; step-grandchildren, Amy, Lea and Derek Corrigan; brother, Robert (Bob) McGuigan (Connie - deceased); sister-in-law, Elvira Livingston; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, John Alexandra McGuigan (in infancy); grandson, Travis MacLean (in infancy); and his parents, Edward and Minnie McGuigan. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Tuesday, January 11, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 12, at St. Dunstan's Basilica at 10 a.m. Interment later at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
