RIVERTON/SALEM, PICTOU COUNTY – Anna Wuite, 91 passed away peacefully at Valley View Villa, Riverton on June 30, 2009. Born Oct. 25, 1917 at Assen, The Netherlands, she was the eldest daughter of the late Martha (Kooistra) and Marten Kingma. She immigrated to Canada in 1948 with her husband Marius, son John and daughter Marianna, son Frank was born in Canada. She was a resident of North River, Heathbell, Rogers Hill, Salem and Riverton. She is survived by son John (Judi), Glennifer Lake AB; daughter Marianna (Garry) Hope, Salem NS and son Frank (Holly), Salem. Seven grandchildren James, Janet, Jeff, Karina, Laura, Sara & Katie. As well as six great grandchildern. Brother Frank Kingma, Wezep, the Netherlands, and Sister Betty (Walter) Hegwein, Overijse Belgium. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, and sister Rens VanDyke, Roden, The Netherlands.

Visitation and reception celebrating Anna’s life will take place at the new fire hall in Alma on July 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.. No Funeral by request. Cremation under the care and direction of Eagles Funeral Home, Westville.
