Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer at the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre, St. John's on Saturday, January 8, 2011, Frederick 'Fred' B. Butt of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 51 years. Predeceased by parents: Chesley and Violet. Leaving to mourn: one daughter: Stephanie (Angus) Hartery, St. John's; one son: Paul (Stephanie), St. John's; their mother: Debbie Butt, Carbonear; their grandmother: Laura Barrett, Upper Island Cove; two brothers: Frazer (Sylvia), Bishop's Falls and Marcus (Cynthia), Tilton; one sister: Adella (David) Tucker, Torbay; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, January 11 at 11 a.m. from the United Church, Freshwater, Carbonear.
