Loving mother, grandmother, aunt and devoted friend passed peacefully away on Saturday, January 8, 2011, aged 68 years. Born on Bell Island, and long-time resident of Branch, St. Mary's Bay. Predeceased by her husband William, her mother and father, Frank and Genevieve Bowdring; her daughter Anna Marie and son Derrick. Leaving to mourn are her son Billy, and daughters, Bonnie, (Sean Kean) and Darlene (Rodney Careen) and cherished grandchildren Anna Marie, Adam, Liam and Lauren. Also mourning are her sisters Genevieve Sweeney (Don), Barb (Mick Brazil), Dot (David Gushue), Mary (Gord Purcell), her brothers, Frank (Linda) and Joe (Trish), Neddy (Louise) as well as her sisters in law, Margaret Ann Short, Mildred Mooney, Ethel Downey and Charlene Nash and their families. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road. Visiting hours from 1-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday. Funeral Mass to take place at St. Teresa's Parish, on Thursday, January 13th at 9.30 a.m. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Logy Bay Road. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
