Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, January 8, 2011, Clarence R. Rose of Western Bay, age 76 years. Predeceased by parents: Thomas and Phoebe; grandchildren: Sarah and Zachary; brothers: Herb, James, Jack, Fred, Hughie and Tom; sister: Lillian Penney. Leaving to mourn, wife: Ruby; two daughters: Cavell (Charles) Brun, Pointe Dixon, NB and Jeannie (Billy) Isaac, Burtonsville, Maryland; one son: Vincent (Pamela), Perry's Cove; four grandchildren: Barbara-Jean (Murray) Anderson, Megan Isaac (Billy) Murphy, Amanda Isaac and Kayla Rose (Kevin Sooley); three great-grandchildren: Thomas, Charlize, and Lilianna Anderson; two brothers: Aubrey (Eileen) and Vincent (Genevieve), both of Victoria; two sisters: Mildred Kelloway, Pentecostal Senior's Home, Clarke's Beach and Nattie (Steve) Nolan, St. Mary's; sisters-in-law: Helen Rose, Victoria, Elizabeth Rose, Gander, Eileen Lannahan, Paradise and Annie Rose, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay with visitation hours on Sunday, January 9 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday, January 10 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 11 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, January 11 at 2 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove.
