It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marjorie Jean Stevenson (nee Dale) announces her passing at the Hoyles Escasoni Complex on Saturday January 8, 2011 at the age of 85 years. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Chesley H. Stevenson, her parents Leonard and Grace Dale, 3 sisters; Evelyn (Addy) Marakowski, Rita (Slim) Basile, Diana Noseworthy, 2 brothers; Chesley (Lottie) Dale, and William Dale. She will be sadly missed by her two sons Brent and John Stevenson, nephew Bud (Doreen) Noseworthy of Stephenville (Caregivers), 1 sister-in-law Margaret Dale of St. John's, 1 brother-in-law Gerald E. Noseworthy of Stephenville, a large circle of relatives, friends, and her extended family at Hoyles Escasoni 2 West. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave, on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from Barrett's Chapel on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at the Anglian Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
