Henry Gordon Howie passed away in Barrie, Ont. Friday, Jan. 7, 2011.
He was the son of the late John W. and Lucy Howie, Sydney River.
He is survived by his wife, Mae (MacAdam); children, Gordon, Brian, Jimmy, Keith, Darryl, Cecilia, Kelly and Craig and their families; siblings, Warren in British Columbia; Peggy Silver, Gary, Vida MacKinnon, all of Sydney; also survived by extended family.
A memorial service will be held in Barrie in February. Burial of ashes at a later date in Cape Breton.
